Caitlyn is a settler with UK ancestry who grew up and lives on Lək̓ʷəŋən territory (Victoria, BC, Canada). She holds a Bachelor of Science in marine biology from the University of Victoria and an Illustration Diploma from Edison College Canada. Caitlyn has 10 years of professional experience in science communication, including her role as Senior Illustrator and Project Manager for Designs that Cell (2021-2026). She is passionate about knowledge translation and telling stories through art.
